"Rose and the Ring" puppets donated to COPA About twenty rod puppets from the U.C.L.A. production of "The Rose and The Ring" have been donated to COPA by Barbara McClay.

The puppet show was the master's thesis for Maclay. Also donated were notes, drawings and the script based on the story by William Makepeace Thackerey. The story is a satire about kings and princesses and changing identities. It includes a lot of transformations, characters evolving into other characters. It was a favorite of the legendary puppeteer, Tony Sarg, who performed "The Rose and The Ring" with marionettes.
