Drawn from the collection of the Conservatory of Puppetry Arts, this exhibit  features the enchanting heroes and menacing villains of worldly lore – Brothers Grimm’s  Rapunzel, Beatrix Potters’ Peter Rabbit, the magical bull from China’s Journey to the West, Othello, and the Ramayana’s Monkey King and many other mythical creatures and characters.  Both charming and sinister, these creatures and characters demonstrate the enduring role of storytelling in cultures around the world. The captivating puppets from the COPA collection include historic marionettes, delicate accessories, and contemporary puppets.
